Carol Pavlik, MA, LPC, LMFT

Hi, I’m Carol Pavlik…

My goal in counseling is to encourage and motivate my clients as we work together through the process of healing. I strive to help others work through life’s challenges, establish and accomplish their goals, and ultimately change their lives in more healthy and positive ways.

Working with individuals, couples, or groups, ages 21 and up, I specialize in working with issues such as anxiety, stress, depression, relationships, couples counseling, divorce or relationship recovery, getting through and rebuilding after divorce, recovering from narcissistic relationships, the impact of addiction on relationships, codependence, self-esteem development, the effects of childhood trauma on emotional development in adulthood, life transitions, life coaching, business coaching, and personal or work-related issues.

I have trained extensively as a Level 3 Gottman Methods Couples Therapist, and provide a research-driven, as well as honest and direct approach toward recovery. Together, we work toward developing better communication, overcoming issues, working through differences, and learning how to strengthen relationship skills.

Licensed as both a Professional Counselor and Marriage and Family Therapist, I have a Master’s Degree in Counseling with post-graduate study in Marriage and Family Therapy, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Psychology. I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
